Quote from: davisd9 on September 08, 2024, 12:54:42 PMIt is the caller and not the calls. Only thing the calls will do is fit your draw or playing style better. Very similar to cuts in mouth calls. Got to figure out your draw and then find calls that best run from that draw. Some builders do make smoother transitions which great help the playability of the call. Consistency by a call maker is also important.

Guess I'm looking for another builder that is consistently turning out realistic easy to run calls.

Just read through these threads and you will get a good idea who most people favor. All the good call makers make what "they" like with the playability and the turkey that favorable to "them". You may like it or you may not and that's not your fault or the fault of the call maker, that's just how it is. Everybody plays different, has a different draw, positions his caller different, etc, and is looking for different levels of roll-over.One good thing is the three you mentioned have a pretty good track record that most folks would agree with!!!
