Yup, I am guessing the roaring 20s team are are mostly guys hunting easterns. Easterns are typically going to score better then the other subspecies. I guess if you serious about winning instead of just having fun you'd load up a team of hunters all hunting easterns in the midwest and south central U.S. Merriams and mountain birds aren't going to compete. Good for them, it's fun to see all those big birds being posted....

I was thinking that it was about that. Easterns in milder climates. I remember someone on here saying that Iowa and Missouri birds are the real brutes. It was more a geographical question than a team thing.I think the spurs are definitely the deternining factor in higher scoring birds. Typically our spurs are shorter than the southern and Midwestern birds. Z

Anybody see a pattern to this...  the numbers on the top are larger that the numbers on the bottom so the numbers are going down the column in a descending order. That was easy give me another one!

Both my gobblers had over 9" beards 13/16ths spurs and the upgrade weighed58.4399 (upgrade)these are farm birds from Pa. guys are harvesting SUPER Gobblers anymore ?
