Does anyone make backpack turkey game bag?

Wondering if anyone makes a turkey game bag to carry a bird out.

Looking into getting a more minimalist vest, and would like the option of a game bag for those vests that do not have one...  And...  While I am nice, I am not nice enough to haul a bird out of the canyon I hunt for a guest I take that harvests a bird.

Not a fan of the turkey totes...  I hunt some steep areas with some reasonably long walks out (generally uphill with a bird).  Tried a turkey tote yesterday, with a short 1/2 mile walk up and out, and hated it.

Thinking of ordering a decoy bag, and turning it into a game bag...  Needs to be easily turned inside out (to clean out blood), backpack style, and I imagine I would have to sew on straps for adjustment, as well as an adjustable chest cinch and waist cinch.

Not exactly what you're looking for but Dan's hunting gear, (Coon hunting supplies) makes a game bag that has 4 snaps on it, 2 at the top and 2 on the sides. If you know a seamstress you could see on 4 D rings and have a removable game bag

If you are going to a minimalist vest that does not have a lot of bulk in the back, I would suggest just getting a medium-sized day pack.  I have used a pack for years rather than a vest (which I have found to be too cumbersome and with poor weight and bulk distribution for the type of hunting I typically do).  I carry pretty much everything I need in it that does not need to be immediately accessible, and if I need to carry something the size of a turkey out of the woods, a day pack is quite adequate for that purpose.  In addition, all of the non-essentials that might be carried while hunting are completely out of the way and with efficient and comfortable weight distribution. Finally, there are lots of options available that will suit the purpose and in a variety of price ranges.

I like the idea of the decoy bag made into a game bag with double carry straps and a garbage bag inside the bag ...

  I carry pretty much everything I need in it that does not need to be immediately accessible, and if I need to carry something the size of a turkey out of the woods, a day pack is quite adequate for that purpose. 

I do not have a backpack that could easily carry a turkey, with the gear already inside that is not really bulky and cumbersome.  Plus, a dead turkey makes a bloody mess inside anything you pack it out in...  I suppose I could carry a garbage bag, buy my current game vest is easy to wash or wipe out.

I do like a vest...  I do not carry a pot call (but do carry a scratcher and box calls).  The vest is not ideal for carrying a bird out, but it is better than any other option I have tried (including a tote).

And...  If anyone knows of a vest that will carry the bird out for you, I would pay extra for that one!

I will probably repurpose a decoy bag, and give it a try.  Was hoping someone already made what I am looking for, especially with so many vests coming out with no game bag, I would think a game-tote bag would be on the market?

Sitka vest has a shoulder attachment for toting birds out, I Would think that combined with strapping it to the pack would work, but haven't tried it yet.

I use a minimalist slumberjack pursuit vest so I needed a better way to carry a bird. Like you said I have tried the tote but for long hauls its not the most comfortable. The peregrine carrier shown below packs nice and compact and is lightweight. I think this would fit the bill.

You could just clean the bird in the field and pack the breast and legs in a small game bag. It should fit in any small pack.

I use a mesh duck decoy bag. It has backpack straps and stores in my vest.

You may consider the Eberlestock Mini-Me Hydration Pack. It's a very minimalist backpack for day hunts and has a mesh game bag you can deploy to stuff a turkey in. I've used mine for several years and hauled several turkeys multiple miles with it. Great all around day hiking pack.

Having said that, I'm not using it anymore. As much as I liked it I found myself taking it off when sitting against a tree as its a little thick (as any backpack would). That got to be annoying for me. I went to a Badlands turkey vest, which I feel is pretty minimalist and has done a good job of long hike outs with a bird. Comfy seat as well.
