Quote from: Turkeybutt on June 25, 2024, 04:56:30 PMI picked up one on E Bay last week and I would have missed it if it wasn't for a good friend of mine here at OG. I didn't even play around and wait to bid on it, I looked at it and hit buy now and it was mine. Last year I was outbid at the last minute for one by $5.00 so I wasn't playing that game again. It's brand new still in the original packaging! Three days later I seen another one on E Bay for sale and the guy was asking over $300.00 for it!They are out there just hard to find and people are asking a high price for them.
Quote from: Turkeybutt on June 25, 2024, 08:41:29 PMTom, I think I made a good deal on this call. I was impressed with the workmanship and quality for a production made call.Selling for around $34 bucks when they came out of production back in the day and yes at that time it was a premium cost for a push-pin call. I remember back so many years ago when I first seen a pushpin call. I might be mistaken but I believe it was a Quaker boy pushpin and at best they were considered a novelty. I didn't know anybody who used one! I would see kids playing with them while at the hunting camp but nothing more than that. Now that same call is demanding 9 or 10 times its original asking price of $34.00. Who knew!
