I have Wednesdays off now due to my work schedule. I put on quite a few miles and was almost home when I saw 3 giant hens. I parked and sipped on my coffee. Patience usually pays off and it did today. About 20 minutes later ole Oscar waddles out of the woods and proceeds to strut for the ladies. As you probably figured, Oscar is a grouchy , now 4 year old, turkey that I have played a few rounds with in the past. He looks huge body wise, 9-10" beard and pretty big spurs for around here, my guess is 1.25" or better. If he keeps up his appearances, I may give him some play time this spring. He may be a good adversary for Gooserbat in may.
