I really like a 2 piece, maple top and some diamondwood, frog wood, web wood, whatever striker tip. They just sing and have a lot of rasp/rattle. Nothin crazy, straight hammer.

I want one of my white waterproof strikers.  The ol' "Thunder Wonder".  Sure some say others sound better...hard maybe... but I've killed to many birds with one not to have confidence and moisture doesn't slow you down.
