Well good for you, it usually takes about a year for your body to totally heal up so don't push it to hard.

Hey everyone! I picked up my 3rd tag for
Illinois yesterday. We can kill up to three per year here, but I've never been fortunate enough to take more than 2.

I have tags for 2nd, 3rd and 5th seasons in my home county. Each tag season is anywhere from 5-7 days and county specific.

I've got a few farms I've hunted on in the past lined up for this year and working on permission on a few others.

Did my first drive around in the morning before work today and spotted three birds in the corner of a cut corn field I have permission on. I glassed them up with the binos but couldn't tell if they were hens or gobblers through the corn stubble and distance. Didn't stick around long enough to figure it out as I'm probably a month or so away from being able to hunt still.

Here's to a great season everyone!

That's great that you're seeing some birds out, winter is still hitting us pretty good. Keep us updated.

We had a super mild winter here. Trees are budding already and some folks have gotten the lawn mowers out. It's going to be an early spring here for sure.
