What's in a name?

Just curious about how you came up with your screen name? Mine of course is the way I used to hunt 40 plus years ago!!! I have slowed down a little bit over the years. Nice it's more like "walk and talk". LOL
If you don't mind what did you do for a living?
I recently retired from Law enforcement after 35 years.

Guesswho is the last thing gobblers hear out of me. I was an account specialist for 37 years and retired 8 years ago. The following week the same company hired me as a consultant a couple hours a week making more money "crazy". So I now consult a few hours a week and am a Gigolo the rest of the time. Gigolo name is also Guesswho.
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

Vintage is because that is the way I hunt. I like hunting the old ways. I retired 11 years ago from a aircraft engine Mfg.

Baseball was a passion of mine growing up and when I stopped playing it was only natural for me to give back and continue coaching. From Little League to Middle School and on to High School. Great pastime.

I always seemed to be the last guy to post on a thread, the tail end. So Tail Feathers.

Mine is just my state of mind. I joined right after I had just been promoted into the office after 16 years of traveling around the country for at least 4-5 days a week and sometimes working a month or two straight. I am just happy to be spending more time with the wife and kids. Two of them aren't kids anymore, though.

A bow hunting friend of mine many years ago started calling me that. When I asked why, he said it was what the natives called hunters in the old Tarzan movies and means the "Great white hunter" in Swahili, supposedly. My friend also happens to be black and he thought it was funny. Stuck with me ever since.

Interesting post runngun and congratulations to all who have retired from long and successful careers. I'm with Greg Massey, mine is my first name. I'm still in law enforcement and hit my 30th year in February. Have a few more years to go before I hang it up.

I was a human resource manager for 40+ years and retired 15 years ago Nothing special about the Gobbler part but the 428 is the course number of one of two boy scout wood badge courses I was fortunate enough to have been course director on several years ago.

I am very creative so I used my old college email. I am a Facilities Director for a school district.
