They play great on pretty much all surfaces. I personally use them on crystal and glass the most.

Hey guys just a short note about the Snake wood striker .....1st .... its nicer looking in real life ....2nd and more importantly,  I've played it on a couple calls this morning.  It did really well on both a copper and glass.
