I really don't think you can compare them. I agree it's more of a preference of what you like in the sound between copper and aluminum.   In my opinion it takes ideal conditions for either one to play at it's full potential. This is why i don't use either one of them for my needs / hunting...

I don't think that you can get any better than Mike Yingling copper pots, maybe as good but not likely better. I own 2 that are unbelievable. They are full of turkey and his strikers work to perfection with them. Very well matched. Price is very fair as well and fast on shipping. Great to deal with

Copper is nice. Deff a diff tone they aren't used to
