Yeah, I have always kept one up. I have 4 notebooks filled up. 1st one of them is full of hunting stories from when I was a child.  The rest is hunting and fishing tales. I started on them when my son was born.  The what/where/when/who all was there. I  have definitely enjoyed it.

I kept notes on mostly successful hunts for many years , then got started writing a book .
My house flooded in 2016 , lost all my stories that I had written ,
I've been saying I would started over ,  but this 9 year old son , playing ball / rodeo/ archery tournaments etc has put it on the back burner ...
