Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. This was a terrible loss that is felt throughout the entire Southern Illinois Community.

This is a large area, geographically but we don't really have a lot of people living here. When something like this happens, we feel it.

Thoughts and Prayers go to my fellow brother's family members. Remember he is now one of gods firefighter's. He gave the ultimate sacrifice god speed brother.

Its always sad to hear of a firefighter being burned or making the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Down here in Florida we just lost 2 Division of Forestry firefighters who got burned over at a brush fire. Prayers are sent from a fellow firefighter.

When I'm called to duty God
wherever flames may rage
give me strength to save a life
whatever be its age


Help me to embrace a little child
before it is too late
or save an older person from
the horror of that fate


Enable me to be alert
to hear the weakest shout
