Congrats! Nice one. Those older hard hunted deer can be a tougher nut to crack. Looks like you have some good genetics in your area

Thank you, yes I am probably as hooked on these guys as much as our beloved turkeys. I don't do much reading, but I enjoy a great book that gives great insight to these mystery deer called Mapping Trophy Bucks.  The author shares all his knowledge regarding pursuing these guys, it really helped me. They are mostly nocturnal, but will make daylight mistakes, I was fortunate to be there when some did....thanks again...
