Status Report?...

It's getting late in the season teammates.  Anybody still hunting?...And are there any changes or upgrades that have not been reported by anybody? 

Personally, I (GobbleNut) am done for the season.  Had some high points early on, but followed those up with some inexplicable "inaccuracies" with my aiming abilities at the end.  It's now a long wait for next spring to try to make amends...

Not me - I'm all done for this season. I was able to hunt three states this year, New Mexico, Massachusetts, and Maine, had great fun with good buddies, made my share of forced and unforced errors, and am in awe of the wealth of arcane turkey specialist knowledge I have assimilated from my fellow GOATS.

I am done. Covid got me and wrecked my season. I was going to try to find a state with late closing but covid also got me so far behind at work that it wrecked that idea as well. I was still trying to figure out if there was one state with a later week and now I have to leave on a business trip week after next. I was really disgusted but a few days ago I was thinking about how many fantastic seasons I have had and some of the birds that are once in a life time birds for most people and I got over it.

Reflexl, your alive and posting....I take that as a win and successful season. I think the team ought to get bonus points for have a tough SOB on our team. I hope your recovery is full and without further complications. If anyone on this forum or even this team thinks you failed to contribute, well I can't really post what I'd like to say to them! Oh yeah, I am done. The turkeys opened a can of whoop arse on me this year. It has been many many years since I had my hat handed to me like this, but I guarantee you I will be back with a vengeance, God willing. I already have plans to make 2-3 pay for their insolence this fall.

I know if we were to ever to do this again, I'm going to have to invest in a dictionary so I'll be able to figure out what some of y'all are talking about.   I've never seen or heard so many big words.
