Can you shoot plated shot thru choke marked lead only

I just picked up a Remington extra full Turkey choke. It says lead only. Is it safe to shoot plated lead shot like Winchester Supremes Thru it? Or do I have to stick with Remington Nitro's?

I did a google search and what I found is yes. They said plated or hardened lead is almost the same. So I should be good to go.

Yes copper or nickel plating is fine.  Go get them!
