I'd like to get some guys to post pictures of their patterns with what choke and shell they use and maybe let us know what else worked and didn't work. I'm thinking about switching to tss in the future maybe but I'm a little worried about 20 yard patterns being too tight. I'll start with my pattern out of my gun. LB XR 3 inch 5 shot run through a kicks .665 gobbling thunder. 20 and 40 yard patterns

What does 20 yards look like with that setup?
a slug hole from the wad in the bullseye, with a bout 6-8" of pellets around the core
"For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great."

I use an 870,extra full,lead bbs.works great,70 yard range or more.

Not a 3" shell, but here is an old 870 w/ 24" Carlson's barrel on it. Patterns are 2 3/4" Herter's tss. 1 1/2oz #9s. Primos Jellyhead choke. Lazered 39 and 25 yards.
