Another sweet looking trumpet, he makes a easy playing good sounding call.


Was that you that had a trumpet partly made from a corn cob?
that was a sharp looking call

Yeah, I’ve got a stabilized corn cob trumpet from Ralph Permar that’s pretty dang slick. Really wish I could still get calls from him regularly—always on the list, but it’s a long wait now that his list is blown out. He’s my favorite callmaker alive.

Beauty in all trumpets and Gary Anderson's Daybreak calls are always things of beauty.

Love those trumpets and I know a few gobblers met their demise from them!

Yeah, I’ve got a stabilized corn cob trumpet from Ralph Permar that’s pretty dang slick. Really wish I could still get calls from him regularly—always on the list, but it’s a long wait now that his list is blown out. He’s my favorite callmaker alive.

The calls I’m most jealous of in this thread are your snakewood pushpin and then the hex and 1917 Permars. I’d damn near kill somebody for one of the original numbered hexes or original numbered Roanokes.
