South Alabama guys

Hey friends I'm heading to Pensacola tomorrow morning to buy a van for my wife and I've decided to try to make a turkey hunting trip out of it. I'll be heading down from North Alabama and this is all real last minute. Could any of you guys from south Alabama shoot me a pm. I'm just curious about a few real general questions since I haven't had time to do any research on the area. If anyone is willing just send me a message so we don't offer up freebies for the whole world on Google. I'll hopefully be hunting somewhere down there Tuesday morning.

Bring a cooler with you,  go to joe patties seafood downtown pensacola and load up.   I live 20 minutes from pcola.  I'm no help to your hunting though.  But there are a couple management areas just over the state line.  Conecuh national forest is the big one.

Thanks I was going to be optimistic and bring a cooler for a turkey. I didn't think about using it for seafood. It looks like the weather is going to be crap for turkey hunting anyway and I'm going to be limited with where I can go in the van. I'll check out the place you mentioned.

Bring your cooler inside. Tell them you are traveling and they will pack it for you.

Well apparently it's spring break and there wasn't a rental car available anywhere for a one way trip so I ended up flying. I was all packed up and ready for an adventure. Oh well. At least my wife is going to be really excited about her new van.  Maybe I'll head south again one day just for the turkeys.
