I have a 3moa, 6moa, 8moa. They are all good. You can dim the larger dots down with brightness settings. The good news about the larger 6, 8 moa is when the dot covers his entire head and waddle, pretty good bet he's out of range. Acts like a mini built in range finder. I do like the 3 moa too. It's all a matter of preference. The Burris, Aimpoint, and Nikon Spur is what I have experience with. They are all good in their own way. Best of luck....hope I didn't confuse you..
