Not sure if this is the proper place for this guestion but have any of you guys had any dealings with one of these?
I really would like to have a gps to find tree stands in the dark a little easier but cant spend the money for the full blown gps units.
I tend to lose my way in pitch dark! :boon:
Thanks for any help!

bad0351,
No...I don't have any experence with Bushnell Backtrack But I'm sure it works just fine. For the price you can't go wrong. If you get one let us know what you think.

I have used the cheap etrex GPS system for about 3 years and it is very easy to use and gets you where you need to be.  It holds hundreds of waypoints and is very durable and cost efficient. They are also small and compact, and bright yellow which makes them hard to lose.

I use an etrex legend to find my spots. I searched and found a video review of that unit on youtube. Watch it, it's actually quite comical what the manufacturer wants you to do to get the compass aligned every time you turn it on. You have to jump through hoops and stand on your head.  :toothy12:  It looks like a complete waste of money. In fact the reviewer said that unit is going to get someone killed.
