Black Hills with a Mero Trumpet
May 18, 2020, 04:03:15 PM
Just wrapped up my first hunt in the Black Hills yesterday. Took 2 days of fighting rain and quiet birds before I was able to get it done on the 3rd morning. I've killed a few birds up in Canada with my trumpet, but this is the first hunt since I've moved to the U.S. for school/work. Brian's call has been equally easy to learn on and productive on birds. Called this gobbler's hens into 10 yards before he finally had enough and closed the distance!

Congrats to you! Well done.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself. It just needs someone to carry it around the woods.

Congratulations to you.

Congratulations! Hard to beat killing one with a trumpet!
