Great season. Finished with a tag but i couldn't care less.
Great weather and the virus slowed work down so i got to hunt a lot.
Started in Georgia for opening weekend. Put one in my son's lap on 2nd morning but he couldn't get the gun on him.
Used on of my tags on South Carolina's opening morning after a bird gobbled and strutted all the way across a field to me.
Got my son one a couple weeks later in a thick overgrown creek bottom and an exciting hunt.
Missed a couple opportunities myself to fill my 2nd tag. Hated to screw up but it did mean i got to keep hunting.
31 mornings hunted. Walked a lot of miles. Put my eyes on seven long beards in shotgun range.
Doubt I'll get to hunt that much in a season again until i retire. Very thankful.
