Getting ready to head to MN soon. I didn't prepare as well as normal due to all the corona craziness, wasn't sure if I could even go due to that. Anyway, I went online to purchase a license and saw that it was 5-10 day wait in the mail. I wasn't sure if I would just get an email copy or not to print off??? I guess I could wait and buy it at a store there but prefer to have license in hand. Thank you!

Call their DnR and talk to them.

Yes there is a wait for tags. They are like a sticker. Just stop at a Walmart or Fleet Farm on your way in into the state. You can also look on the DNR website for authorized licensing agents to buy one from. Just need to know the season your hunting and then they like to know the zone you will be primarily hunting for their records but the tag is valid state wide.

Most gas stations in rural areas sell tags as well. Shouldn't be to hard to find a place to get a tag.

I agree with the others have stated. Don't worry about getting it ahead of time. Just stop at a licensing agent in the state and buy OTC. Season E is in right now and Season F will start May 20th. You will have to pick your season to hunt in. Good luck!
