Quieting an autoloader shotgun

Does anyone know how to quiet up the forend of a mossy 935. I already know its not a high end gun but I have heard other autoloaders creak and grone from the fore stock area. It's not very loud but probably louder than a tree yelp.
Could you just shim it to the barrel. I'm sure this would be taboo for a rifle as you typically don't want it touching the barrel but what about a scatter gun.
I know bow hunters have all kinds of secrets to quiet down their tree stands-what about the forend of a shotgun.

I put some self adhesive felt in the inside of the forearm if my 835 pump. It quieted down the clunk of the forearm against the barrel fairly decently.

Just an idea, try a few strategically placed strips of thin inner tube rubber.

I had a mouseberg 500 that had forearm rattle like yours. I used camo tape but you could try duck tape also. Warning it might damage the bluing.

Glad I read this...I've got a 835 clunker as well...get me some felt tape. I've also got a 930 so am aware of the "creak". The felt should work there as well.
