Hey y'all, completed my single season grand slam this morning in the black hills of South Dakota. Pics and videos to come all hunts were filmed. Couldn't have done it without the help I received from y'all on this forum. Now I will be starting to check off a few more states on the way home to start knocking off more of the lower 48. Last minute decision to head to Wisconsin today. Completely blind no clue on where to even start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait for y'all to see the videos from this week in the black hills

There are no leftover tags available until Season E which starts May 13. I suggest you hunt MN instead. MN tags are OTC.

You should look in to zone 3 in central Wisconsin. There is a ton of public land and a over load of turkey. I would look for managed forest land or forest crop land. State parks can be good also. If you feel like doing a bit of research you can look up land owner that have shooting permits for turkey. Also the dnr officers for the county or district are always a big help. I believe zone 1 and 3 are the only ones that have tags left for otc. Well good luck hopefully this helps

Wow???  Currently checking Zone 3 off my list of potential places to hunt next season.  Would think some things are better handled through PM's, but that's just me.

Congrats on your single season slam OP!  Good luck in the Badger state.

Oops! Gave away my super secret hunting spot for public land that covers 16 counties and has tens of thousands of acres of land. Lol . Figured my last post would get someone's attention.

Probably caught more then just my attention, but only time will tell.  I'm sorry if it sounded like I was calling you out as that was certainly not my intent.  I guess my main point was to use PM's for information like that.  I actually think it's cool that you wanted to help out a fellow hunter and I have done the same thing myself.  Guess I have seen way too many loose lips around here.  Where I live and hunt in MS a little information goes a long ways and can literally ruin a spot in no time.  Duck, deer and especially turkey.

BTW, Wisconsin is an absolutely gorgeous place.  I spent some time there in the late 80's trapping ruffed grouse for a restocking program in AR.  Some of the most beautiful country I've ever spent time in.  Consider yourself blessed to be able to live and hunt there!
