Steven's 301T XP optic question

Does anyone know if the factory installed Stevens 301 base that came from the factory with loctite or thread locker on the screws.  I patterned the shotgun with the XP optic that came with it.  When I got home I noticed that the front nut on the optic had come loose and no thread locker was used.
