I removed the legs because they get in the way and if you put stuff in your back like a wing or a jacket or whatever the legs won't close or open easily.
I purchased 3 yards of coyote 1" elastic band as mentioned on another thread.
I threaded the elastic through one of the permanent buckle attachment points in the picture.
Then the running part of the elastic went through the gap on the back where the backrest would insert and through the same place on the other side.
Then to make it flip up and down correctly I removed the seat attachments from the bottom so the seat is attached with only the elastic to the seat.
See pictures below. Works great in the living room will let you know Wednesday how it works in the field.
