Thinking about another 20 gauge project. Does anyone have opinions on this gun? What choke thread does this model take? If your hunting with one, what chokes, ID, you run. I will be using TSS #8's. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not much help, but have been looking into this myself and after about 45 mins of hold time I got through to Savage and they said the choke pattern is standard benelli threads. I spoke with Indian creek and they don't believe that you will be able to use two of their chokes together in it but they have not done anything with the particular model to know for sure. And Savage pushed Trulock choke tubes when asked what their suggestions were. It's not much info but it's all I got.

My Google searching only shows Trulock and Carlsons for this gun but I am not sure!

Thanks for the help guys. I would probably run a Sumtoy .562 or IC .555 with TSS #8s top barrel and just factory full choke in the bottom with LB # 6 for up-close range.... Was hoping someone on the forum that has hunted with one a couple of years had an opinion and what chokes they like.

Well I did a thing last night and messed up and went and held one! So it had to come home. They are nice and light, swings good, and for me points as I want a shotgun to point. I verified that it does in fact take ber/Ben Mobil chokes. And Larry Potterfield help push to make it happen with the birthday discount that MidwayUSA gave me for this week I will probably be running federal #9 tss for shot through Carlson chokes I got the tss .555, .575, and the black cloud two pack one is a .590 and the other is a .600 more than likely I will remove the brass bead if poa/poi are the same for a fiber. It's pleasant to shoot with field loads recoil is a bit stout with 3" turkey loads so will probably look into getting a limbsaver pad to put on it and will more than likely give it a rattle can Camo job.
