 I will be hunting Osceola's in Central Fl starting March 21st, not sure if anyone starts sooner.

I can start around March 15 if I drive a little south here in Alabama. I'm not sure if I'll get to but hope to try at least once.

our season opens the 15th. I usually like being the first to chime in.....but this year, I work most of the entire turkey here in the sipp. So I really don't know whats its gonna look like with one day off a week. I can tell you this much, Ill do all I can with every spare second I have....If I can kill just one bird at home I will be happy. its nice to get a limit, but Im content with just proving to myself that I still got it.

I put some cameras out last weekend on some public land, gonna try and get back out there next weekend to check them.

My brother found a good group over where he lives close to a farm we have permission on. Hopefully something will hang around over there. As far as my spot close to me, looks like when I can walk again, its boots on the ground. Dang hogs have taken over the southern part of Mo.

What happened?  Hope you get your legs up and running soon. Turkey season is so special to me now it would be a major blow to miss a season.

Long story short, I'm 50 and decided to start 4 wheeler racing. I had a crash a month ago and fractured my right leg in 2 spots. I'll be able to put weight on it in a week. I wouldn't miss opening morning for love or money,lol. Heck I'd give up deer hunting if we could hunt turkeys longer, lol.

Sounds like you have had a rough go lately also TH! I'm 40 and I'm starting to feel it. Come opening morning, it would be hard to keep me out of the woods. We start March 15th here in MS.

We are April 18th here in Maryland but I'm going to try to go down to VA for opening weekend which is the week before Maryland. It can't get here soon enough!!!!
