Don't have a huge turkey population in our area, lived here 15 years ,killed 1 Tom. Get birds on cameras or see sign every year, just don't have a hunt-able flock. Sitting on couch this morning having my coffee , catch movement out by feeder, here comes a red head beard swinging, 9 toms and 2 jakes wondered thru. Great way to start the day...com on spring...

Don't really hunt them here, would like to take 1 with bow, but I drive an hour plus to hunt New Jersey. Just love the chance to get up in morning and listen to them wake up, growing up in Jersey, never saw or heard turkeys. Jersey didn't have hunting season for turkeys until 80s or even 90s.

Congrats...Hopefully they stay around for you. Even if you don't hunt them at home, there is nothing better than listening to them gobble, while you are standing in your own backyard. Good luck!
