National Convention Hotel Room

Anybody know if there is any special way to get a room at the opryland. I was just now able to find out I would be able to go this year and I know they are saying they are sold out of rooms. If not has anyone ever stayed across the street at those hotels if so how are they. Thanks.

The nwtf site has a room block and discounted rate. However, I booked 2 weeks ago and they only had sat night available.

I had to book the opryland inn across the street. Kinda bummed about that.
