Primos ground blinds

Anyone use one of the SurroundView ground blinds? IL turkey populations are so high that I'm thinking of getting one,so I can see 'em coming in better before I pile up some hens and poults this Fall.

I have one a love it. BUT I only deer hunt out of it.  Plenty of room.

Do you have the 360? I've sat in the other ones and the big shooting port isn't low enough to shoot my bow out of.

Instead of the Primos .. I bought the Cabelas's The Zonz Specialist 360 ground blind ... it has 360 deg. of viewing .... you get a chance check it out ... nice blind and it comes with lifetime warranty .......

To add to this there is also a XL model which is the one I would choose if I were to get one of the two.

You definitely can shoot your bow out of any of the windows.

I HATE HATE HATE hunting from ground blinds.  Let me state that up front. 

Why even go out if you are going to essentially sit in a cramped outhouse with almost no view and almost zero nature/outdoors enjoyment. 

That was my perception BEFORE i bought a Primos 360 at the last minute so i could take my brother in law out in NC this past April.  It was forecast for heavy rain almost all the time, i had to try something that would let us at least hunt some.  I had to roll the dice and give the 360 a try.

Blinds are still super lame to hunt from but this one is an exception.  You can actually see!!!  You can actually hear stuff going on outside!!  You can actually enjoy some fresh outdoor air!!!

I'd say this thing was is 80% enjoyable as hunting without a blind whereas a regular tent blind is 5% as enjoyable.  If that.

Thing is fast and easy to set up and take down.  Just remember this order: side, roof, side, side, side and you are golden.

Thing worked great in the rain and allowed us to hunt otherwise unhuntable conditions.  No luck in NC it turned out but took my elderly neighbor out in Maryland the next week for his first proper turkey hunt and we each got longbeards from the 360.  The movement we were able to get away with was insane.  You can wear street clothes!  Perfect for a novice that cannot be stealthy enough like my neighbor.

The week after that, i took another new hunter out, this time in NH, and we used the 360 to exploit an otherwise unhuntable field.  Again, two longbeards from the 360.

The Primos Double Bull 360 will make you happy when running and gunning or when hunting out in the open is not the optimum strategy.  You can adjust the shooting port height to an incredible degree.  Using a bow is not an issue.

I heard a long time ago that Primos bought the rights from Ameristep for the 360 view style blind. It could have been B.S.,but the Ameristep intimidater 360 view was/is the best blind I've ever hunted out of. And of course they dont make it anymore. I havent tried the Primos one,but if its close in style to the Intimadaters i would.
I'm not much for hunting out of blinds either,but I'm not sitting in the rain and it gives my son an opportunity he wouldn't have without one.

Good to hear it worked in the rain.  I've heard some complaints about that.

Our local Running's moved into a new location and had the 270* for $250 for their Grand Re-Opening Sale so I picked one up.  I started out turkey hunting out of blinds but have definitely enjoyed the run & gun style more and more.

Looking forward to getting my son out there with me in that blind.  He loves turkey hunting and is waiting to go with Dad & Grandpa next year.  I think it'll be great for that.

I also have a Herter's XL ground blind from Cabela's that I think is pretty good and can be had for well under $100 when it's on sale.
