Hunting Michigans Northern LP

Anyone in the Traverse City, MI area??? I'm a Georgia resident but currently visiting my girlfriends family for week or so up here. I can't help but notice the fine public turkey hunting available around the area, especially the Manistee National Forest. Would anyone be interested in letting me tag along?? I would love to spend some time in the woods chasing longboards up here....
