I shoot a 20 inch I'm using a Jebs headhunter 565  and Federal TSS #9 I have no problem killing birds at 50 yards if I need to

My 26" barrel likes a Trulock choke rated for 7 shot. Good patter out to 40. Rarely shoot beyond 30.

Mine has  a 22 inch barrel, Carlsons 575 and Federal TSS #9 does the trick!

Shot a 22" Super Bantam using an IC .555 and handloaded TSS 9s. I tried the IC .562 but this barrel preferred the .555.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
