lost my box call?

I have no idea how but on Monday I lost my Penn's Woods Waterproof Wizard box call while hunting. I looked for 3 days with no luck. They were the first waterproof box calls. Not sure how long I've had it but I know it's been with me for a lot of years. It had a great sound that I miss terribly. It has notches all down one side as a reminder of the birds it was responsible for meeting their demise. If anyone has one they'd be willing to part with shoot me a PM and we'll go from there.

I've drove off with a few of them sitting on my trucks tool box. I don't think about it till latter but by then its to late. I got a few custom boxes now, I'm pretty sure I'll keep better track of them.

Dang, wished I had one I would give it to you. That sucks losing a call with sentimental value like that. I lost a whole vest with all my calls during a move once. I really don't remember what was in it except for a Woodhaven Cherry Crystal. At the time it was the most expensive call I had ever owned.

I know how you feel. I've left a few in the woods myself. One of these days instead of hunting Morels I'll

Be thankful it was a Pen Woods and not a Neil Cost box!  I have left a lot of stuff in the woods, went back to never find them.  Always seems to be a pot call and I cannot understand what eats my gloves.  I always end up with unmatched gloves in my vest.

Sorry to hear that..Losing items drives me nuts. I'd probably still be looking...

Not a turkey call, but I'll be damned if I can't find my lanyard with my duck and goose calls on it. Has about $300 worth of calls on it but most importantly, it has all the bands that I've collected over the years. I sure hope to find it, but I may just have to start a new one this next season if it doesn't show up.
