With lead 5's 100 in a 10" circle. With lead 6's 130-150 in a 10" circle. With any HTL shell not counting TSS, 150 in a 10" circle. With TSS, 200 in a 10" circle. All the above would be with a 20 gauge.

With the right set up there are a lot of guys able to put over 200 #6 pellets in a 10" circle at 40, with a 3" 12ga
Like a lot of other guys have said, I wouldn't shoot 40 yards without being able to out 100 minimum in a 10" circle at 40.
