I don't see how yall post pics of birds,around here where I live  I ain't got but 2 friends I will tell what I kill because of people getting mad at ya for killing a turkey. On here I see where yall can post pics tell everyone that you limited out and so on. A few weeks ago I posted an amount of turkeys I have taken this season and had a few pics of the birds on my Facebook page well a guy  that I don't think is even a member on here was browsing oldgobbler an saw my post well next thing I know I had all the joining  land owners were mad along with people that hunt there land all because they have not killed a bird I guess and I did not have but one left for my limit for Alabama and Mississippi season. Next I have a friend of mine that has several hundred acers in the same area that won't let anybody but me turkey hunt on his and they called him trying to get  me kicked off his land well he blasted them out and then they call the game  warden on me.I mean it  don't really mater but its just the fact of having to put up with idiots.but the only good thing is the landowner wrote me out a lifetime permit that is in his will but it really ticks me off that people get so crazy over hunting. But I learn not to let anyone know what I kill from now on I think I will just not post anything about the kills on a public forum

Sorry for gripping about it,but dose this kind of thing happen where you all live?

No..........unless your talking about a giant whitetail, then all bets are off.  I kill most birds on public land anyway.

being here in bama i really dont understand why folks are that way, why are they calling the game warden? u hunting over yellow gold? i think them folks are just mad cause you are killing them and they aint. however still trying to cut your hunting places is just plain wrong, are them folks spreading lies about how you are hunting? then i would tell them to go to hell and get in the woods and hunt not sit on green fields and call it hunting.

If your legal..no worries...if your dedicated enough to kill birds every year Congrats. Jealous hunters can't help but start rumors. Keep huntin safe and enjoy the hunting heritage and smile real big in your well deserved photos.

Well I don't hunt over corn nor feed it but I do plant chufa and I have spots that I feed wheat just to hold the birds till spring. They are mad mostly because I lucked up and have bout 2000 acers right there that all these people use to hunt without permission and now that they  don't have run of it anymore because of me is some of it but when the game warden walks up on ya while you're set up on a  bird to check ya its just crazy and a whole lot easier to keep it quite.they can't stand it that nobody can turkey hunt the land without me or permission from me.

well i can understand the way the way folks are. besides i was being very sarcastic about the corn.  my dad was fishing on lake martin once and was parked at a spot that is open to all. and a guy walks up and shoots his truck in the raditor,we really dont know who done it but even money says it was a guy whose grandfather once owned a lot of landf there and was still pissed that alabama power used eminent domain to take it way from the family . now that was many , many years ago. hard feeling dont go away.
