I would go for the Savage for dedicated Turkey gun. I have an old one that was my Grandpa's. 28 inch fixed full choke. I have kilt a bunch of Turkeys with it. Federal hevi weight 5s.

No kidding!? Where did you find it!? I'm heading to my gun shop after work to talk to him and see if he can find any.

Just an update, due to the fact that I haven't been able to find a gun shop with either in stock I decided just to drill and tap my 870 and put my aimpoint on it i know thr Savages just started shipping, but I haven't been able to find anyone too ambitious about tracking one down and getting it in. So that will have to be next years project! I will post pics of how the 870 and the new sumtoy do!
