Are the mossberg 500s in Greenleaf as desirable as the Remingtons?  Did a search and can't find any for sale or that have been sold.

I would think it would bring pretty good, as much as the 870s it would be hard to say but I think so. True value would need an auction. I have never saw a 500 in greenleaf before but I have seen a 835, someone posted one they bought last year. If you have one post a picture I wouldn't mind seeing it.

It would be the Realtree green leaf not Mossyoak Greenleaf Mossburg dipped Realtree Remington used Mossyoak
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

You're right most were dipped in the older realtree pattern but some mossbergs were also dipped in mossy oak greenleaf from the factory. Look at the 835 in post http://oldgobbler.com/Forum/index.php/topic,84046.msg815018.html#msg815018

It was at my local gunshop.  Should have bought it but I didnt.

It was definitely the Mossy Oak Greenleaf just like my Remington 11-87.  It wasnt Realtree.

That was a rare bird indeed, never saw one. I always liked the Realtree brown/green better on the guns but although Mossberg  makes a good shotgun I've always preferred the 870.
