Where in Bama don't they have skeeters.

I saw one down there near Dothan that had a 6" beard lol. Leafy suit for me gets snagged on everything.

I've had mine for about 10 years, it's held up great. I wear it in the spring and fall archery season, never had any problems getting hung up on anything.

Mine is the cheapie from Walmart.

I've worn a BugTamer brand jacket for many yrs. I had to replace the main zipper 3yrs ago. Otherwise, that jacket over a tech-fabric long sleeve works for me. In the early AM, a fleece vest helps. I have a "dog-o-flage" too & pants as a back up.

I've been a leafy wear guy since it first came out. My choice is Cabela's latest version. It has zip front a hood 2 pockets and it built to last. Unfortunately I don't think that they sell them anymore. Bass pro has a similar type. I customized mine with a vail type face mask long enough to tuck in and protect me from the nasty black flies up here in New England. This feature alone has many gobblers riding home with me. While everyone is swatting and quivering I'm in my personal tent,motionless. It keeps you hunting late into the morning when the bitting buggers are driving everyone else back to the truck.The fluttering leaves are awesome and when you, think you need to "just move up to the next tree and I'll see better" they conceal a lot of minor movements. I recommend leafy wear highly.

Ive had the cabelas leafy suit for a couple seasons now and it has held up great compared to the walmart one i had before.

Just picked up one of these as well, to replace my old Underbrush one I've had forever. If it's like everything else I've got from them, it should be good quality.

ASAT Vanish Suit no questions after I seen my friend disappear in the woodline I had to get one.  They look really good after 1 season and the material starts to fray at the edges.  Dont cheap out get the one that is uv treated also.

Hey guys, I was thinking about grabbing a leafy jacket.  I know last season here in Alabama we had a good bit of cold weather starting out.  If I had a leafy jacket I could just throw on over whatever layers or shirts I wear for the hunt.  I've never had a leafy jacket and I'm assuming it will grab on everything and may not be that durable so I'm to ya'll feedback.  Do you like them and if so which one do you like.  I'm a small guy so I don't won't anything to huge.  Just a medium size jacket would be good.

I had and tried using one , but for the reason you mention it just grab onto everything , i just didn't need it hanging on and pulling on sticker bushes and whatever else it came into contact with ... i just use a light weight camo jacket if needed ... sometime coverall's depending on the weather ...lol

I have the cabelas leafy suit with the fine mesh backer. I typically get about 2 seasons out of one due to Greenbriar tearing it iup. I use berlap threads to tie it back together when I rip it.

One early morning I was crawling in on a gobbler I had rooted the night before on a mountain bench covered in green briar. I became so entangled in Greenbriar I could not go forward or back and could not stand up without a major comotion. I ended up unzipping the top and completely sliding out of the jacket and pants on the ground. I ate that morning I went back to retrieve my suit and had to cut it out of the briars. It was worse than barbed wire.

I laughed out loud picturing you stuck in those briars. Green briars are no joke!
