Looking for suggestions on Compact Binos for turkey hunting . 8x25 or 8x30 . Light , Compact without braking the bank .

Nikon prostaff or Vortex of ur choice. Buddy took a pair of 8x25 (maybe 32's) Vortex diamondbacks to CO this year elk hunting. He liked them just fine.

Beware on the lower end Vortex's, they fog up extremely easy.

The same could be said for any low end optics. My viper scope fogged internally as well. Great thing about Vortex is their warranty. Gets dealt with quickly. Not gonna get high end compact binos cheap. With optics, one generally gets exactly what they pay for. Without breaking the bank, those DB's are functional and worth the money.

I have a pair of Leupold Gold Ring 10x42 . They are great but I was looking for something more compact and lighter

I believe there's a set of compact Cabela's binos in the classifieds here. No clue about the quality but you can check them out on their website.

These are pretty good, light & won't break the bank. I have the same pair. Hard to beat for the money.

Look into the Sig Sauer lineup. A buddy got a set and I was impressed. Light to carry with a generous field of view. Pretty decent at low light too.

I start out thinking I'll get something light and compact...but after shopping around, I always end up getting something big, heavy, and expensive.

I do the same with guns.
