870 youth model ATI T-3 stock question

I am slowly building a 870 express youth model 20 gauge 21" barrel turkey gun. Before I get it cerakoted and dipped I want to swap the stock to an ATI T-3 stock. Looking for peoples experiences with them. Are they easy to swap like other stocks? Do they increase or decrease the recoil or is it the same?
I'm building it as a back up to my Affinity Compact. So mainly will be for my nephew (6) when he goes and my son when he gets old enough. So mainly looking at recoil for a kid using it aspect. Any help would be appreciated.

I had no issues  installing  stock on my daughters  870 which I also use, recoil is less.

They are kind of heavy which is why I got rid of mine.
