Max Effective Range 410 TSS?

I'm new to the 410 but the ballistics are unreal for a sub gauge lookin at shooting Browning BPS W/ 26in barrel Fed TSS or APEX through JEBS X FULL TURKEY CHOKE. Is 50 possible or is that pushing it

What choke tube are you using or is yours a fixed choke?

Comp n choke .385. Its a smoker at 30yd. Put 248 in 10" at 30yds. Shot twice at 40 yds and had a 130ish number and a 90ish. I have to get more shells to make sure it wasnt me. Had to keep a few to hunt with this past weekend. Even if they start to fly crazy at 40yds, Im still happy.

It all depends on your pattern.  Factory TSS has the energy to do it that far, just depends on if you have the pattern to do it.  That's a poke even with TSS from a 410.  There are some guys that are getting that though.

3 different tristar guns I am privy to are solid 130 to 180 guns at 40 yds. This is with 9.5's apex load . chobrown has some outstanding #9 numbers out of his mossy 410 , have personally seen @20 patterns over 200 he has shot at 40 yds.if you have 140 + at 40 you can definitely do farther , but know what your gun can do everytime and stick within those parameters .

What chokes are being ran. The two guns we have do not seem consistent at 40.
