This is a tough question, what makes them "loud" is the actual boot or you? I have a pair of hunting boots that every time I bend mt toes as I walk the squeak, It drives me nuts. So there no longer hunting boots.
I have noticed that in the last few years soles on many hunting boots are very hard and loud. Walk on concrete with them and they sound like wooden clogs. My old Rocky's have a softer sole more like a running shoe.
