Started to leaf through it and here,I am at page 10 or so. Took me a year to save up the 800 Bucks about 3 years back. Might sell it one day for less then half that . I myself can do the Yelps and Whit-Whits with my voice box in my neck.  The Author Gobbled really well with his natural voice. I would love to hunt down there in MISS.

I hunted around and finally found a signed copy for 150$. I thought the book was ok but he wrote like a bragard he also wrote the way he talked which was not good English and doesn't transfer to the written word very well. Tall Timbered Gabriel's was another book it took years to find and turned out to be a disappointment. There are a lot of self published turkey hunting books that are great...these two are not them. I sold both mine and got my money back.
There's a reason some of these old books are hard to find, nobody was buying them and the author couldn't afford a second printing. Look at 10 Legion for example it's never been out of print since 1973, because of demand.  This add was in a Turkey hunter Magazine years ago at the time the book was two years in print and hardly any had sold. If we'd only knew now what they'd sell for later lol
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

There is a book called The Witchery of Archery that the English they used in it was not very good but it did not really take away from the book at all. Only thing I did not like about the book was they used racial slurs for African Americans a bit. Was not used in a hateful way, it was how they talked back then but I wish it had been edited out. I may have to read that again. Another book I enjoyed though the English was horrible in it was Crow Killer the Story of Liver Eating Johnson.
