I've got a new style A5 and I'm toying with the idea of cutting the barrel down to 22". Just curious if anybody on here has done it or has any links to some of the ammo/choke companies testing one.

I dont see why it would not.  I have seen some 26 inch ones. 
Tell us just how dead do you want them to be and we will see if we can get that for you.
