Anyone know of an atv battery that I don't have to fill with acid and charge my self and will last longer than a couple of years?  I thought I heard something about a gel battery one time.

Buy yourself a trickle charger and run it during the cold months!I used to buy a battery a year for my atv until I started using one of these.Im on the 5th year with this battery.

Be prepared for sticker shock on battery prices, I've managed to have to buy 2 vehicle batteries and 1 ATV battery in the last 2 months. I'm spent about 400 dollars on the 3 batteries

I bought a trickle charge and had it hooked up. 4 wheeler was starting great until opening morning of our deer season. Don't know what happened, maybe just to cold for it.

just get a interstate battery, last long and has a good warranty

I've never seen one for an atv at least not around here

I don't know what part of the country and don't know what size battery you are needing but check out Rural King

I bought my RZR battery on Ebay two years ago and put a trickle charger on it (HF item) with no
problems.  The battery was reasonably priced and the trickle charger was $5 on sale.

I believe AGM type batteries are better suited for ATV usage.  Get an trickle charger that is suited for the type of battery you buy and use it for periodic maintenance charging.  The battery shop that use doesn't recommend leaving them connected all the time.  They recommend unhooking the charger with the battery is fully charged.

Duracell makes a great ATV battery.  They are around 110$
