It's been a bit so I'll post this again. We have lots of classified adds. Don't use friends and family. Pay pal WIL NOT back you. If the person is a friend or family it'd be dif. Even than you're not being backed. Someone WILL be screwed. Just don't do it.
Now the 3% everyone likes to ask for. Look it they upped a price 3% you could say nothing but the charge otherwise belongs to the seller. There is no way they can ask for that imo. Remind them that.

My opinion is just include it (The 3%) in the price you ask and then there is no problem.

Lately I've been using it  ha ha
PayPal GOTO send too FREINDS and you have two choices
Cash is cash
Cash with your charge card  3%  it shows the cash amounts GOTO freind and the three percent
Goes too your charge card

The main just is really not go use friends and family for anything. You're not protected. I'm not sure what's so hard about this though. A charge card you're charged 3% say for using. It's your choice. 
W pay pal you're charged nothing, the seller is charged the convenience fee. The charge is theirs. They should not ask you to pay.
If they do and you agree so be it. I'm just not doing that. Let's be honest it's not much, it's just a silly pet peeve on my part
