I ended up going with the Hank's Aluminum with a padauck pot AND the knight and hale canyon cutter.
Mack's PW has the Hanks on sale for ~$30, and the canyon cutter is on sale at
knightandhale.com for $12.50. Both arrived yesterday, and both are excellent!!! They have slightly different tones, the surface on the canyon cutter is a bit rougher, but I like the bite and the acrylic pot. For $12.50, you need to get one for sure before they go back up! I reckon I knew the Hanks would be great, but that canyon cutter surprised me with its awesomeness! Between it and the Moonshiner, K&H has turned up the heat!
I intend to eventually try some more like gooserbat, footondahead, and Schaffer, these were just the first two! Thank you all for your thoughts!
