This is a bird shot by Jeff Engel with my calls title "Her Majesty". Jeff is an award winning nature and wildlife photographer. You may recognize him for the series he had on the outdoor channel called "Engels Outdoor Experience". He is the man that took the pictures of the bird on the calls i produce. I sent the calls to him for field testing. The best way to test a call, send to someone who does it for a living.
Jeff had three birds hammering these calls the day before the season opened in Wisconsin. He called me as he was working the birds so i could hear the response. He had them gobbling their heads off while i listened. That was pretty cool to hear. Needless to say here are the pictures of the next day where he tagged a beautiful 25lb bird with both the calls. He used the mahogany one first, but started using both to sound like two different birds and the big boy couldnt stand it. Here is the result.

Good looking calls and bird.

That pot has a really good sound to it with his one piece hickory striker. It will definitely be put to the test next season with me in Texas and in Michigan and Alabama and I have no doubt it will get the job done. Also it looks great with the picture of that turkey!!!

Nice. Congrats!
